The Community Engagement Specialist will support the ongoing programs of Four County EMC by developing and executing marketing and communications strategies that enhance community engagement and cooperative relations. The role involves creating and managing public relations initiatives, overseeing community programs, organizing special events, and contributing to both traditional and digital communication channels.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in community outreach, marketing, communications, or public relations is preferred.
Strong communication and community engagement skills are essential.
Experience in digital media, including social media management and content creation, is preferred.
Solid skills in photography, videography, and multimedia presentation development are desirable.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, website management, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
